We don’t use cookies

This site sets no cookies. Not one. It stores nothing in your browser, it doesn’t track you, and it doesn’t advertise to you.

There are no analytics either — nothing here counts your visit, records which pages you open, or measures how long you spend reading. No tracking pixels, no advertising tags.

That is also why you weren’t stopped by a cookie banner on the way in. Those banners exist to ask your permission for the things we haven’t done. With no cookies to consent to, there is nothing to ask you.

What still happens when a page loads

Your browser has to fetch a couple of files from other companies to build the pages on this site:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces the site is set in.
• Unsplash — the photography used on the pages that carry it.

When your browser asks for one of those files, the company sending it can see your IP address. That is simply how the request works: a file has to have somewhere to be sent back to. It is how the fonts and pictures appear on your screen, not us watching you.

If this ever changes

If we ever add analytics or anything else that uses cookies, we will update this page to say so, and we will ask for your consent first wherever the law requires it.

Enquiry forms

Sending an enquiry is different from being tracked: you type it, you press the button, and it comes to us. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we receive, where it is kept and what your rights are over it.
